Announcement on the SECRET PROJECT and more

Saturday, September 13, 2014
Hello lovelies!

As some of you may have seen on Twitter and Facebook, I've been posting for the last week and a half about a SECRET PROJECT that I'm working on. I said that I would give the details once I finish. Guess what?

I finished.

In *counts in head* a span of 12 days, I wrote a novella. 12,000 words. 1000 words a day. It's completely unlike me to consistently write that much in such a short time. I may get on a writing spree once in awhile, but this was quite a change of pace. The story flowed from my fingers to the page, sometimes almost faster than I could type! I actually can't believe it's over already, but I'm partly glad that it is because I've been dying to tell you all about it.

First of all... the title is More Than Words. It's a standalone novella. Here is the synopsis:

All of her friends know her as Dana Darling, the clean romance writer. She's never written a steamy novel, not even in her head, but now her publisher needs her to write one. It doesn't appear too difficult at first, but then Dana's lack of sexual knowledge creates writer's block.

That's where her friend Landon comes in. She needs pointers on positions and dirty talk, and he owes her a favor. They agree that it's strictly business and clothes are mandatory, but once they get to work, it's another story entirely... one that's being written between the sheets and not on paper.

It started out as a short story, but developed into so much more. I'm hoping to get it published by the end of next month (late October, haven't picked the date yet). So, be sure to come back here and Twitter and Facebook for all the updates.

One more thing! For those of you who have read Resist and are dying to see what happens next for Allegra and Devlin, don't you worry. I'm still plugging away at Longing. I broke 10,000 words and I've got the next handful of chapters plotted out. I'm still aiming to have Longing finished by the end of the year.

Until next time...
